Nottingham Holme Run Half Marathon (Nottingham, UK)
Sarah Johnson had a lifetime best of 1:18:25 to get the win.

SinSon 10K (Porto do Son, Spain)
Ero Doce pushed the pace early to get a lifetime and club best of 28:45.

December 14
Space Force T-Minus 10 Miler (Cape Canaveral, Florida)

Kyle Eller earned a podium spot in third.

Christmas Relays / PAUSATF Grand Prix (San Francisco, CA)
Our women’s team of Sarah Johnson, Marissa Ferrante, Carmen Mejia, and Christine Hoffmann took the crown. A men’s squad of Daniel Sealand, Joshua Sealand, Oli Langford, and Emmett Reynier were fourth, third PA team.

December 7
California International Marathon / PAUSATF Grand Prix / USATF Marathon Championships (Sacramento, CA)
Seven PDC athletes qualified for the 2028 Olympic Marathon Trials (Matt Lenehan 2:15, Maya Weigel 2:28, Jenny Grimshaw 2:32, Erin McDonald 2:32, Jen Odenheimer 2:35, Izzi Gengaro 2:36, Bridget Blum 2:36), while Carolyn Buchanan also notched a top 3 Canadian time for 2025. All were PRs. Zoe Baker toughed out a 2:38 after illness, and Sierra Brill debuted in 2:40. Trevor Halsted had a tough day, but finished, and Lucas Mowery had a successful debut, running primarily with Izzi. Maya was 5th in the US Championships her highest finish in US Championships other than Club XC, and earned a new club best in the process.

December 6
USATF XC Championships (Portland, OR)
In the 2K trials for Worlds, Garrett Macquiddy was 3rd (1st alternate for Team USATF), Joshua Sealand was 14th. On the women’s side, Claire Yerby was 11th and Carmen Mejia 12th.

November 27
Run to Feed the Hungry 10K / 5K (Sacramento, CA)
Ero Doce won both the 10K and 5K in under 44 min combined. Kyle Eller also had a strong run in the top 10 of the 5K.

Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot (San Jose, CA)
Garrett Macquiddy moved up to 1st this year running 5K in 13:55, Marissa Ferrante hit 16:42 for second, Andrea Cloarec dipped under his goal of 15:00 in 5th, and Melinda DiNapoli won her age group. In the 10K, Tom Tayeri won his age group and Andrew Roos was top 10 overall and top 40+.

Joshua Sealand won.

ARM Gobble Wobble (Burlingame, CA)
Yuzki Oey won the 10K

Napa Turkey Chase 10K (Napa, CA)
Dena Evans was third overall and top 50+.

Modesto JC Turkey Trot (Modesto, CA)
Dominic Robles was 3rd and Ken Valdez 4th.

November 23
Chinese Athletics Association 10K Elite Series Xiamen Xiangan (Xiamen, China)

Ethan Yan was 4th net time, 7th gun time.

November 16
PAUSATF XC Championships (San Francisco, CA)
Claire Yerby became our 12th different individual winner on the women’s side as both teams took second. The women had five scorers in the top 11 and all eight runners in the top 26. For the men, Ero Doce and Garrett Macquiddy led us in 4th and 5th, while the men had seven in the top 25 and two full teams of seven in the top 55. Andrew Roos also had a top 10 finish in the masters competition.

November 9
Monterey Bay Half Marathon (Monterey, CA)
Ero Doce won for the second year in a row, lowering his PR to 63:46. Vedang Lad was 8th and Daniel Sealand 11th. For the women, Nelleke Gibson scored a lifetime best in 7th at 1:20. Sarah Johnson also earned a top 10 in 9th.

November 8
Indy Monumental Half (Indianapolis, IN)

Alex Dickinson hit his target training pace for his marathon build.

November 2
Hot Chocolate Run 15K (Chicago, IL)

Zoe Baker was the victor as she tuned up for CIM with a 52:26 training effort.

Clarksburg Country Run Half Marathon / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Clarksburg, CA)
Faith Reynolds was 3rd in a targeted 1:19, while Trevor Halsted was top 10 while tuning for CIM.

TCS New York City Marathon (New York, NY)
Tom Tayeri and Melinda DiNapoli both competed, with Tom earning 6th in the 60+.

November 1
Golden Gate XC Open / PAUSATF Grand Prix / USATF Masters 5K XC Championships (San Francisco, CA)
Claire Yerby won by over a minute, while Garrett MacQuiddy won by the narrowest of margins. Emmett Reynier closed hard for 2nd, while Christine Hoffmann and Marissa Ferrante finished the podium spots for the women. Joshua Sealand was 7th for the guys, followed by Ethan Yan in 13th, Kyle Eller in 15th, and Oli Langford in 17th. Carmen Mejia was 12th, and Coach Dena was 15th overall in the masters champs and 2nd in the 50+.

October 25
Matt Yeo Aggies XC Open / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Martinez, CA)
Ero Doce led the team with an individual win, followed by Emmett Reynier in 9th, Trevor Halsted in 15th, and Dominic Robles in 27th. Marissa Ferrante and Christine Hoffmann were 6th and 7th.

October 19
Detroit Free Press Marathon / Half Marathon (Detroit, MI)
Erin McDonald earned the victory in rainy weather.

TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon / Half Marathon (Toronto, Canada)
Carolyn Buchanan tuned up for CIM with a strong 4th place.

October 18
Willow Hills XC Open / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Folsom, CA)
Emmett Reynier, Joshua Sealand, and Dom Robles were 2nd, 7th, and 10th, while Carmen Mejia was 7th for the women.

October 12
John Lawson Tamalpa XC Challenge / PAUSATF Grand Prix (San Rafael, CA)
Ken Valdez led results in 4th. Joshua Sealand was 8th, Trevor Halsted 9th, and Dom Robles 14th.

October 5
Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon / 10K (San Jose, CA)
Melinda DiNapoli won the 10K, while Ethan Yan and Tie Zheng had the top two times in the men’s 10K. Bridget Blum had a ~45 second PR to take 5th in the Half, followed by Yuzki Oey in 7th, Ayla Granados and Sierra Brill in 8th / 9th, and Vedang Lad also top 10 for the men.

September 28
Ironman 70.3 Augusta (Augusta, GA)
Kevin Bishop achieved a goal of sub 4, while Andrea Cloarec was 3rd Frenchman across the line.

Phil Widener XC Open / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Santa Rosa, CA)
Christine Hoffmann and Emmett Reynier enjoyed twin wins, while Trevor Halsted was 6th.

Urban Cow Half Marathon / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Sacramento, CA)
Sarah Johnson took 8th as she achieved the Championship standard for the 2026 TCS London Marathon.

September 21
MLK Dream Run 10K (Portland, OR)
Anna Tait finished in a dead heat for 1st / 2nd, right on pace target.

Air Force Half Marathon (Dayton, OH)
Kyle Eller finished 7th, 6th among service members.

September 20
Rebels XC Challenge / PAUSTF Grand Prix (Carmichael, CA)
Dominic Robles debuted for the fall season with a top 10 finish.

September 13
Garin Park XC Challenge / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Hayward, CA)
Emmett Reynier debuted in 2nd, while Christine Hoffmann was 4th and Trevor Halsted was 7th.

September 6
Run Mag Mile 5K (Chicago, IL)
Zoe Baker won the race in 16:47.

September 3
JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge (San Francisco, CA)
Ethan Yan and Zach Hine were 3rd and 4th for the winning male team from Meta.

August 24
Santa Rosa Marathon / Half Marathon (Santa Rosa, CA)
Izzi Gengaro broke the tape in a PR 1:16. Oli Langford was top 15 while a resurgent Ben Mears was top 20.

Santa Cruz Cross Country Challenge / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Santa Cruz, CA)
Christine Hoffmann was 6th and Trevor Halsted 8th in this first effort of the season.

August 15
ASICS Falmouth Road Race (Falmouth, MA)
Claire Green was 21st and Jenny Grimshaw 27th in the elite start.

August 9
Cooper Teare Classic Alameda 10 Miler / 8K (Alameda, CA)
PDC won the co-ed team competition in the 8K led by Vedang Lad as the invidual winner. Matt Lenehan, Dom Robles, Brian Hicks, Tom Tayeri, and Nelleke Gibson were all top 12 as Nelle also won the women’s crown in the 8K. Carolyn Buchanan won the 10 mile event.

August 3
Spanish Outdoor Championships (Tarragona, Spain)
Ero Doce took 10th in his first senior 5000m track championships.

July 31
USA Outdoor Championships (Eugene, OR)
Claire Green took home a 9th place finish in a hot and humid 10,000m national championships!

July 27
Wharf to Wharf 6 Miler (Santa Cruz, CA)
Yuzki Oey had a strong PR for a 33:56 6th place, while Ayla Granados doubled back to take 11th. Sierra Brill was top 20. Melinda DiNapoli got on the age group podium for the 50+ and Brian Hicks earned his top finisher jacket.

July 26
Ryan Shay Mile (Charlevoix, MI)
Erin McDonald ran a huge PR for 4:31 in a close second place.

Miguel Reyes 5K (Fresno, CA)
Ayla Granados took second in the Central Valley fixture.

July 19
Stumptown Twilight (Portland, OR)
Daniel Sealand was 3rd in Heat 3 of the 1500, while Carmen Mejia was 6th in Heat 3 of the 800m

July 16
Tracksmith Twilight 5K (San Francisco, CA)
The summer classic again returned to Kezar, where Faith Reynolds smoked a 16:35 PR to win, while Kyle Eller earned a combative 5th in his first track 5K since college. Kirk Scheibelhut and Andrea Cloarec got off the bike long enough to earn top 10 and 20 respectively, and Sierra Brill notched a top 10 finish as well.

July 14-15
International Island Games (Orkney Islands, UK)
Anna Tait medaled twice for Orkney on home soil, with a 3rd place finish in the 1500 and 2nd in the 5000m.

July 13
Patagonia 5K / PAUSATF Grand Prix (San Francisco, CA)
Jenny Grimshaw made it our fourth different individual women’s winner in four tries this year. Oli Langford moved up to 16th place from the Impala Stampede.

July 12
Sound Running Sunset Tour (Eagle Rock, CA)
Ero Doce notched a new lifetime best in 13:50, while Claire Green tuned up for USAs with a 3rd place run in Heat 2 of the 5000m. Erin McDonald (5000m) and Joshua Sealand (1500m) took big swings, but today wasn’t their day.

July 4
Morgan Hill Freedom Run (Morgan Hill, CA)
Podium finishes for Kyle Eller (2nd), Oli Langford (3rd), and Melinda DiNapoli (3rd, 1st master)

Mammoth Footloose Freedom Mile (Mammoth Lakes, CA)
Faith Reynolds took the W and took home a pie.

Alameda 4th of July Parade 5K (Alameda, CA)
Ayla Granados won in her first race as a new mom!

June 22
Abbot Kinney Mile (Los Angeles, CA)
Faith Reynolds earned 6th in the Elite heat.

Grandma’s Marathon (Duluth, MN)
Mara Olson returned to the marathon with a 2:47 effort and 22nd place.

June 14-15
Portland Track Festival (Portland, OR)
Our debut effort as Team SFO in the co-ed 3K team race resulted in a strong 2nd place. Zoe Baker, Anna Tait, and Izzi Gengaro went 1-2-3 in the Open 5000m, while Sarah Johnson had a tough day with a calf strain. Season’s bests all around for Joshua Sealand and Daniel Sealand in the 1500m, Carmen Mejia in the 800m, and Chris Olley in the 5000m. Erin McDonald had a lifetime best of 4:23 to win the Open 1500m, followed by a PR-ing Faith Reynolds at 4:27. Donald Taggart stoically soloed a solid PR in the 10,000m.

June 7
Impala Stampede 5K / PAUSATF Grand Prix (San Francisco, CA)
Erin McDonald, Zoe Baker, and Faith Reynolds raced to a second straight GP podium sweep for the women.Yuzki Oey earned a very solid 5th, with Nelleke Gibson in 17th to help the team to victory. Steven Grolle, Kyle Eller, and Oli Langford all posted finishes between 13th and 21st, with Andrea Cloarec putting in a training effort as well.

Ero Doce won the 800m

June 1
Marin Mile (San Anselmo, CA)
PDC put on a show, with women earning 6 of the top 8 spots along with 1st (Chris Olley) and 3rd (Daniel Sealand) for the men, paced by Joshua Sealand. For the women, Erin McDonald’s outdoor PR of 4:50 led the train, followed by Maya Weigel, JJ Escalera 4th, Anna Tait 5th, Zoe Baker 7th, and Faith Reynolds 8th.

Zach Hine notched another W.

May 18
Bay to Breakers 12K (San Francisco, CA)
No centipedes this year. However, Chris Olley and Maya Weigel were individual runners up, while Tom Tayeri won the 60+ AG. Izzi Gengaro, Mara Olson, Jeannette Mathieu, and Sarah Johnson were 4-5-6-12 while Daniel Sealand (13th), and Kyle Eller (21st) put in strong efforts for the guys.

May 17
West Coast Last Chance (San Francisco, CA)
JJ Escalera was second in the 800m, followed by Carmen Mejia in 5th, while Joshua Sealand was seventh in the mile.

USATF 25K Championships / Amway Riverbank Run (Grand Rapids, MI)
Maya Weigel was 6th place in a new club best time of 1:28:24, her highest USATF Championships finish so far.

Los Altos Hills Pathways 10K (Los Altos Hills, CA)
Joshua Sealand and Christine Hoffmann both took home the winners’ trophies.

Portland Twilight (Portland, OR)
Anna Tait had a 19 second 5000m season’s best in 4th place.

APU Franson Last Chance (Azusa, CA)
Ero Doce matched his season’s best in the 1500m, Zoe Baker opened at the same distance, and Donald Taggart (10,000m), and Ken Valdez (5000m) had efforts to build on.

Grizzly Peak Half Marathon (Berkeley, CA)
Zach Hine won the title.

May 4
Devil Mountain Mile of Truth / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Danville, CA)
Faith Reynolds, Anna Tait, and JJ Escalera went 1-2-3 while Ero Doce won the men’s race for our third straight individual men’s GP win. Oli Langford also was 19th place.

May 3
USATF 5K Championships / Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K (Indianapolis, IN)
Claire Green was 16th place.

May 2
UC Irvine Steve Scott Invitational (Irvine, CA)
Donald Taggart moved up nicely for 6th place in the 5000m.

April 27
TCS London Marathon (London UK)
Jenny Grimshaw and Carolyn Buchanan both enjoyed three minute PRs of 2:36:14 and 2:36:27 respectively, while Dena Evans ran 3:16. Jenny was the 4th quickest US woman and Caro was the fastest Canadian woman on the day.

Alameda Hospital Foundation 10K / PAUSATF Grand Prix (Alameda, CA)
Chris Olley, Zach Hine, Joshua Sealand, Kevin Bishop, and Lucas Mowery posted a 1-8-10-14-21 men’s team finish, while Maya Weigel, Zoe Baker, Izzi Gengaro, Jen Odenheimer, and Anna Tait went 1-2-3-5-8 on the women’s side.

April 25
Payton Jordan Invitational (Stanford, CA)
Ero Doce had a strong 1500m opener in 3:45, while Faith Reynolds had a season’s best of 4:31 in the 1500m, while Josh Sealand paced the 800m.

April 21
Boston Marathon (Boston, MA)
Tom Tayeri earned yet another WMM podium finish, with a 2nd place in the 60+ division.

April 18-19
Johnny Mathis Invitational (San Francisco, CA)
Joshua Sealand (1500m), Sarah Johnson (1500m), and Carmen Mejia (400m) all took fourth place, while Sara Was also 5th in the 1500 and Josh was 2nd in Heat 2 of the 800m.

April 16-18
Bryan Clay Invitational (Azusa, CA)
Ken Valdez had a 20 second season’s best in the 5000, while Sierra Brill had a season opener in the 10,000m.

April 6
Carlsbad 5000 (Carlsbad, CA)
Tom Tayeri won the 60+ division, while Donald Taggart was 6th in the Open division.

SacTown 10 Miler (Sacramento, CA)
Ero Doce won, while Maya Weigel was second, Erin McDonald was fifth, and Brian Hicks, Kyle Eller, and Lucas Mowery were all top 35.

April 4-5
Stanford Invitational (Stanford, CA)
Izzi Gengaro earned a 21 second PR in the 10,000m with pacing help from Sierra Brill, while JJ Escalera doubled in the 1500m and the 800m.

Mike Fanelli Invitational (San Francisco, CA)
Anna Tait, Joshua Sealand, and Kenny Valdez all competed in the 5000m, while Tait and Sarah Johnson competed in the 1500 (nearly a PR for Johnson),

March 29
The TEN (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
Claire Green was second in Heat 2 in a debut club best of 31:49.

March 23
Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K (Chicago, IL)
Claire Green took 2nd place in a club best 25:56.

Oakland Marathon 10K (Oakland, CA)
Amy Schanz and Tom Brookes both won the 10K, with Tom setting a lifetime best.

Project 13.1 (Congers, NY)
Carolyn Buchanan earned a huge PR of 1:15:11 taking 2nd in wave 2.

March 16
NM Spirit Run (Newport Beach, CA)
Joshua Sealand was second in the mile and 5th in the 5K.

March 15
West Coast Invitational (San Francisco, CA)
PDC went 1-2-5-8 in the women’s 1500 (JJ Escalera, Faith Reynolds, Anna Tait, and Sarah Johnson), while Carmen Mejia took third in the 800m.

March 9
National Spanish Road 10K Championships (Bilbao, Spain)
Ero Doce earned 15th place.

Hot Chocolate 10K (San Diego, CA)
Jen Odenheimer won.

March 8
Cal All-Comers #2 (Berkeley, CA)
JJ Escalera won the 800m , while Joshua Sealand had a season’s best at 4th in the 800m, and Anna Tait was 5th in the 1500m and 6th in the 3000m.

March 2
Kaiser Permanente Napa Valley Marathon / Half Marathon (Napa, CA)
Jenny Grimshaw hit a 2+ minute PR to win the half in 1:15:14. Zach Hine helps on for a top 10 despite some hamstring issues. Alex Dickinson had a productive MP day out on the course, while Nelleke Gibson returned from baby with an outstanding 1:22, paced by Andrea Cloarec. Dena Evans hit a better than expected 1:30 to earn 4th in the 40+.

BU Last Chance Invitational (Boston, MA)
Faith Reynolds won her heat in the Mile and Chris Olley was fifth place in Heat 3.

February 23
Stanford Dish Run (Stanford, CA)
Tom Brookes and Lucas Mowery were first and third at this annual campus tradition.

February 22
Cal All Comer’s (Berkeley, CA)
Chris Olley and Joshua Sealand were 1-3 in the men’s 800m, while JJ Escalera and Faith Reynolds were 1-2 on the women’s side, paced by Carmen Mejia. She finished 6th in heat 1 of the 400mm while JJ also was 2nd in the 1500. Tom Brookes was 8th in the 1500m for the men as well.

February 9
Kook Run 10K (Cardiff by the Sea, California)
Erin McDonald was 5th in a road PR of 34:09.

February 2
San Francisco Half Marathon / 10K / 5K (San Francisco, California)
In the race formerly known as “Kaiser”, Holly Clarke, Jenny Grimshaw, and Carolyn Buchanan went 1-2-3 in the 10K, followed by Sarah Johnson in 6th. Tom Brookes was 4th in the Half, while Caitlin Chrisman was 7th on the women’s side. Chris Olley won the 5K, after winning the 10K the year before.

February 1
UW Invitational (Seattle, WA)
Faith Reynolds notched a 4:53 opener in the mile, for her first indoor race in five years.

Ourense International Indoor Meeting
Ero Doce hit an indoor personal best of 1:51 in the 800m after running 10K on the roads and 10K cross country in recent weeks.

January 12
10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun (Valencia, Spain)
Ero Doce notched a new personal and club best of 28:53 chip time (29:01 gun time) in this incredibly deep competition.

Chevron Houston Marathon (Houston, Texas)
Maya Weigel was 8th overall (5th US) and Jen Odenheimer was 15th (8th US) on a freezing, windy day.

January 5
Bob and Ron’s Manoa 5K (Honolulu, HI)
Joshua Sealand and Carmen Mejia both won!

January 4
Campeonato Xunta Galicia de campo a traves (Ourense, Spain)
Ero Doce finished second in his home regional championships. His finish qualified him for the regional team for the national cross country championships.
